Purpose

Required and selective courses include Chinese doctrines and thoughts, classical and contemporary literature, Chinese characters, phonology, semantics and popular culture. We focus both on traditions and creativeness and put emphasis on the cultivation of professionals that appreciate Chinese heritage.

A. Understand the thoughts of Chinese tradition and have the ability to do analytical thinking.

B. Have correct and overall understanding to the features and development of Chinese language.

C. Have the ability to read, to interpret and to appreciate classical and contemporary Chinese literature.

D. Have the ability to appreciate classics and to create arts.

Master Program
